yet, the events coming up this weekend in MI Great Lakes Bay are ultimate
choices for you to start your holidays. The PRIDE in Saginaw is going to host
its annual event, Holidays in the Heart of the City, on November 16 and
Christmas Parade on November 17. Meanwhile, if you are in Midland this weekend,
come and join Midland Santa Parade in Downtown Midland this Saturday.

The Saginaw Water Treatment Plant will host the City
Lighting ceremony at 5:45-6 pm with Santa Claus, then, over 1,000 luminaries
will light your way, guiding you to these locations for fun:

Park (corner of Michigan & Court St): free pony rides, reindeer, Santa,
& the Castle Museum Cookie Hut

Drive for free horse-drawn wagon rides, plus the trolley will get you from
the west/east side to the opposite side to enjoy more attractions!

Food vendors will line the streets tempting you with the
smells of their foods, the Farmer's Market will be set up in front of the
Andersen Enrichment Center selling Christmas greens, and other businesses on
the east and west sides will be open for your enjoyment. Stay for fireworks at 8:30 pm!
Don’t forget to join PRIDE in Saginaw's Christmas parade on
Saturday morning at 11 a.m.! The parade will begin at East Jefferson Avenue in
downtown Saginaw, west to Washington Avenue (M-13), then south to Ezra Rust
Drive, ending at Ojibway Island.

Deer Widows Weekend

Midland Santa Parade

Location: Downtown Midland, MI
Start your holidays off with Downtown Midland’s Santa parade! The annual Midland Santa Parade is
going to celebrate its annual Santa parade on November 17. The parade will
begin at 10 a.m., and the route starts at Midland High School, travels down
Ashman Street to Main Street, and ends near Cronkright.
The Midland Santa Holiday Parade began in 1985. Each year
the Midland Santa Holiday Parade has a holiday theme and a selected Grand
Marshall for that year. In addition, the Midland Santa Holiday Parade
recognizes two outstanding Midland County kindergarten or first grade students
as Prince and Princess.
