Great Lakes Bay Region Official Travel Guide Photo Contest


Some say a picture’s worth a thousand words. Now’s your chance to prove it! Submit your best photo of the Great Lakes Bay Region and it could be featured as the cover of next year’s Go Great Lakes Bay magazine, Official Travel Guide of the Great Lakes Bay Region!

Photo submissions may highlight anything from a beautiful day on the water to an exciting experience at one of our region’s incredible attractions or festivals, so let your creativity run wild!


How To Participate
Email your best shot to greatlakesbayregion@gmail.com with your name and contact information. Be sure to include a short description of your photo, and why you Go Great Lakes Bay!


All photos will be posted on the Great Lakes Bay Regional Convention & Visitors Bureau’s Facebook page for online voting from October 1, 2011 to October 16, 2011. (Great Lakes Bay Region CVB's Facebook Page: http://www.facebook.com/GreatLakesBayRegionCVB)

Photos with the most votes will be considered for the cover of the next Great Lakes Bay Region Official Travel Guide. Other top entries may qualify for a special feature section within the magazine called, “Why I Go Great Lakes Bay.”


Photo Submission Deadline: September 30, 2011
Online Vote on Facebook : October 1, 2011-October 31, 2011

Contest Rules
  • Limit 3 submissions per person, please
  • Photos MUST be taken in the Great Lakes Bay Region (Bay City, Birch Run, Chesaning, Frankenmuth, Midland, and Saginaw)
  • Photos that have inappropriate content or do not meet the guidelines and standards of the contest will not be posted or considered for publication
  • Photos must be high-resolution and print-ready (300dpi or greater)
  • By submitting your photo(s), you agree for the Great Lakes Bay Regional Convention & Visitors Bureau to post your photo(s) on Facebook for online voting. Additionally, if your photo is selected, you grant the Great Lakes Bay Regional Convention & Visitors Bureau all rights to use your photo, with or without photo credits, within the Great Lakes Bay Region Official Travel Guide and all other print and online publications.

      Thanks for your question! Isabella County is now part of the collaborative leadership partnership known as the Great Lakes Bay Regional Alliance, but they are currently not linked with the Great Lakes Bay Region of Bay City, Birch Run, Chesaning, Frankenmuth, Midland, and Saginaw as part of our regional tourism destination.
