Want to fly in the sky? If that’s one of your kids’ wishes, their dream can come true this Saturday in Midland! The Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) offers free airplane rides to children and teens age 8-17. You can also bring your kids to have a full day fun at the Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum (MMCM) this Saturday. Those cute animals from Children’s Zoo are coming to MMCM on Saturday, and it is a great opportunity to have your kids play with them. In addition, Olive the Playful Pig is going to visit the MMCM again on the same day afternoon!

Your kids are going to be amazed at their experience at the
Young Eagle Plane Rides. The Experimental
Aircraft Association’s (EAA) Young Eagles’ Program was launched in 1992 to give
interested young people age 8–17 an opportunity to learn about and fly in a
general aviation airplane. These flights are offered free of charge and are
made possible through the generosity of the EAA member volunteers.
The Midland EAA Chapter offers Young Eagles rides on the second
Saturday of every month from 9:00 a.m. to noon (weather permitting). A parent or guardian’s signature is required
on the permission form. The form is available at the airport on the day of the

If your children are too young to enjoy the flight, bring
them to the MMCM for a whole day fun! The Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum is
going to host a series of events this Saturday. Lots of furry and feathered
friends from Saginaw Children’s Zoo will visit the MMCM from 11:30 a.m. to
12:30 p.m. While playing with those animals, you could also make and take a
stamp animal. In addition to the cute animals, another big guest is coming to
MMCM. Olive the Playful Pig will visit the MMCM at 1-3 p.m. this Saturday. The
cute pink lady had a lot of fun on her last visit at the MMCM, and she is
looking forward to playing and taking pictures with you! :]
