Are you looking for some fun things to do with your kids
this weekend? The Farm Frenzy Weekend at Splash Village is going to bring the
farm fun back to Frankenmuth this weekend.
In the meantime, the River of Time is going to sweep Bay City into the
past through live reenactments this weekend. The event attracted 30,000
visitors last year, and it is a great opportunity to learn more about the
history while having lots of fun at the event. You can also bring your kids to
join the Safety Day: Kid-Friendly Safety Tips hosted by the Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum.
Farm Frenzy Weekend at Splash Village

Frankenmuth has been one of the top family destinations in Michigan. In

What is a better way to inspire your kids to learn more
about the U.S. history than seeing a living history encampment? Started in
1990, the River of Time Living History Encampment is a free educational event
for people of all ages. Every year, the encampment draws up to 900 re-enactors
from around the Midwest, who come to dress and live the roles of Native Americans,
Colonists, French voyageurs, and Civil War-era soldiers!
In the outdoor setting of Veterans Memorial Park on the bank
of the Saginaw River, the River of Time showcases a time-line of eras in the
history of North America, Michigan, and Bay County. In addition to live reenactments,
the River of Time demonstrates the 18th century crafts and music. The River of
Time also offers children activities including an historical puppet show.

Safety Day: Kid-Friendly Safety Tips
